Hello, this is my entry for the Mini Jam 90: Illusion.

Or, should I say, it was. This is an updated version, with some polish and a new level; the patchnotes are in the Devlog. If you are curious about the version submitted during the Jam, you can find it here: https://bazisti.itch.io/double-world-original-version (the password is Potassium).

It's a simple game where you have to reach the other side of the screen, by controlling a single character. You can collect coins too.

The controls are:

  • A or Left Arrow: goes left
  • D or Right Arrow: goes right
  • W, Space, Up Arrow: jumps
  • X or Down Arrow: switches perspective

It is... rather unimpressive, I know; but not only this is my first game ever "completed" and published, I also didn't have much time to develop it during the Jam. I may be adding more levels in the future. It is quite gaunt, but I've learned much about Unity scene management and audio, so I'm pretty content with this project.

I used free sounds from freesound.org and changed their pitches; I thank all the authors:

I also used some sounds from the 2D mega pack by Brackeys.

Awesome concept and executed well. Are you planning to further work on the game ?
